This Privacy Policy defines the procedure for the collection, use, storage, and protection of personal data of users of the ejob.az website (hereinafter referred to as the “Site”).

By using the Site, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. What data we collect

The Site collects only the data that the user provides voluntarily when creating a resume (CV), job vacancies, advertisements in the “Self-Employment and Earnings” section, or during registration.

Registration requires only an email address and a password. The password is stored in encrypted (hashed) form. Registration is not mandatory to use the main functionality of the Site.

All data provided by the user for publishing resumes, vacancies, or advertisements may be published on the Site in accordance with the selected privacy settings.

In addition, the Site may automatically collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, cookies, and anonymized analytics data.

2. Purposes of personal data processing

Personal data is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• providing the functionality of the Site;
• creating and managing a user profile (for registered users);
• publishing resumes (CVs), vacancies, and advertisements at the user’s initiative;
• displaying contact information in accordance with user settings;
• communicating with the user when necessary;
• improving the quality of the Site and ensuring its security;
• collecting anonymized technical data for analysis and statistics (IP address, browser type, cookies, analytics data).

3. Public availability and moderation of publications

All resumes (CVs), job vacancies, and advertisements in the “Self-Employment and Earnings” section are subject to moderation by the Site administration. The user may edit their resumes (CVs) and vacancies without limitations; however, the administration reserves the right to reject or edit a publication in accordance with the form submission rules (specified on the form page).

The user may stop the publication of their resumes and vacancies independently (if registered), but complete deletion of a publication is carried out only by the administration. Active publications may be deleted by the administration after 6–7 months or earlier at the user’s request. Inactive publications stopped by the user or at their request may be deleted by the administration approximately after one month. After a publication is deleted, the photographs attached to it are also deleted.

4. Data for online resume generation (CV Maker)

Data entered by the user in the “Create Resume” section is not published on the Site and is stored in the database only during the session. This data and uploaded photographs may be deleted on the same day.

5. Data storage and protection

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, modification, or disclosure.

User passwords are stored in the database in encrypted (hashed) form and are not available in plain text.

6. Protection against automated data collection

The Site uses technical measures to protect information from automated collection (parsing), including restrictions on mass access and special methods of displaying contact information.

Contact information may be displayed in a format that complicates automatic copying and processing.

7. Transfer of data to third parties

The Site administration does not transfer users’ personal data to third parties and does not distribute it outside the functionality of the Site.

Data publication is carried out exclusively at the initiative of the user and within the selected privacy settings.

8. Use of cookies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure proper operation of services, analyze user behavior, and improve user experience.

The user may disable cookies in their browser settings.

9. Analytical services

We may use third-party analytical services (for example, Google Analytics) that automatically collect anonymized information about visits to the Site.

This data is used exclusively for statistical purposes.

10. User rights

After registration, the user gains access to additional account features:

• viewing statistics of views of their publications;
• information about publication status;
• hidden mode;
• ability to stop or activate a publication;
• promotion of publications in search results (within limits);
• ability to edit publications (all data except the email address linked to registration);
• favorites list;
• editing the company profile page;
• messaging;
• adding and deleting photos in resumes.

Complete deletion of publications and data, as well as changing the email address, is performed only by the administration in accordance with storage and moderation rules or at the user’s request.

Some Site features may be paid. Before using paid features, the user will be provided with information about pricing and payment terms.

11. Changes to the Privacy Policy

The Site administration reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy without prior notice.
